North Carolina Pulled Pork

This was one of my first experiences while in NC!!
I actually like BBQ sauce on mine, but I was told that you don't eat this version of pulled pork with any BBQ sauce.  I guess that's like adding american cheese to lasagna.  So, I serve barbecue sauce on the side for anyone who would prefer the alternative.

BBQ Pulled Pork

This is a great recipe for the crock-pot.  There's also another recipe for pulled pork, but without the BBQ.  I'll post that one by itself.  That one has more of a vinegar sauce to it.


BBQ Ribs Oven Style

This was a dish that I normally would fix on the grill.  But coming from Jersey, I found that I couldn't make it during the winter months when the grill was covered with snow.  So, I converted a summer time favorite, to an "anytime" favorite.

I like cooking certain meats slow, so this recipe can actually be made in a crock-pot on low for about 9hours.  When using the oven, this cooks for about 5 hours total.
